You know what? I love fall! It’s time to put on our favorite sweaters, eat warm and comforting food and get back to our little projects. I like to call fall the soup season because that’s when I start going for pho regularly. Well, I found something even more exciting than soup to have this year: soup in a dumpling!
Qing Hua has been open for a few years now in “Koreatown” but it wasn’t before they opened a second location in Chinatown that I got to try those delicious dumplings. The selection is as interesting for vegetarians as for omnivores and one basket usually includes enough dumplings (10-12) to share for two.
My all-time favorites are the beef curry dumplings and the lamb and dill dumplings. I also always oder the hot & sour soup (more soup!) as it’s the freshest I have tasted in Montreal so far.
I haven’t tried the other location but I highly recommend the one located in Chinatown. The restaurant seems to be the cleanest in the neighbourhood, the service is great and it’s perfect for families.
It will cost you between $30 and $50 for two and you will leave with two full belies and a few dumplings for later.
