EXPO Manger Santé et Vivre Vert and Prana

March 03, 2013

Here’s a cool expo to check out this month! Coming back for its 16th edition, EXPO Manger Santé et Vivre VertEat Healthy and Live Green is a great way to check out the newest products coming to the market but also meet the lovely people working hard on giving us natural options when we shop.

It can be overwhelming to step into a health store for the first time and this event is the perfect opportunity to learn more about healthy and green options. Plus, there’s a ton of samples to try during the week-end once you get in!

For this year’s edition, PRANA was kind enough to send me its 3 newest trail mixes! This local company offers a great array of vegan and organic products which makes for the perfect snacks to bring on a long and busy day.

Fuji Organic Premium Salty Trail Mix

Organic Almonds, Organic Cashews, Organic Brazil Nuts, Organic Hazelnuts, Organic Thompson Raisins, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Cranberries (cranberries, apple juice, cold-pressed sunflower oil), Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Algarve Sea Salt.

Kilimanjaro Organic Deluxe Chocolate Trail Mix

Organic Dark Chocolate 70% (cacao liquor, cane sugar, cacao butter, cacao powder, tapioca maltodextrin), Organic Almonds, Organic Sultana Raisins, Organic Cranberries (cranberries, apple juice, sunflower oil), Organic Walnuts, Organic Salted Cashews, Organic Salted Almonds, Algarve Sea Salt.

Machu Pichu Organic Exotic fruit and Nut Trail Mix

Organic European Almonds, Organic Thompson Raisins, Organic European Pumpkin Seeds, Organic White Mulberries, Organic Brazil Nuts, Organic Goji Berries, Organic Goldenberries (physalis).

I enjoyed all 3 blends but I’m a sucker for chocolate so Kilimanjaro was definitely my favorite! With the cranberries sweetened with apple juice, it’s now become my default snack before heading to my crazy crossfit sessions!
