Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert Is Coming Up Next Week!

March 18, 2017

Montrealers, do not forget that Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert is happening next weekend on March 24th-26th. I make it a mission to go every year and I am never disappointed. It’s your chance to sample hundreds of products you might have heard about and also get incredible deals at cool places that focus on your well being! It can be overwhelming if it’s be your first visit so let this pro give you a few tips ;)

1) Don’t eat before

Seriously. There are so many samples of snacks, vegan protein, smoothies, soups, etc… you will not enjoy it if you are feeling full. I usually come with an empty stomach and leave the expo well fed!

2) Don’t come in a rush

There are hundreds of booths to see! It usually takes me 2-3h to get through the whole thing so plan your schedule accordingly. Which also means you have to be patient. A lot of people attend every year so you will have to wait sometimes to reach a booth. Come with a friend and take it slow :) A good trick is also to come right when the expo begins in the morning!

3) Bring your water bottle

After trying so many samples, you will get thirsty and you wouldn’t want to waste time backtracking to buy water. You can fill it again if you go to the restrooms.

4) Bring your backpack

The Expo is great and gives you a nice and sturdy reusable bag as you come in but there are heavy things you might not want to hold on to. You will find decent deals on food, fresh produce and even juice cleanses (6+ bottles)! They will be much more fun to take back home in a backpack! You can also ask the booth to keep your purchase until you’re done visiting everything but that means having to find that exact booth again later.

There you have it! You can purchase your ticket online or in person at Palais des congrès next weekend. Do I sound excited? :D

Also, if you’d like to get inspired about making the right changes in your life, the documentary What the Health just came out. It sounds like the perfect home viewing to do before next weekend!
