I got invited to the launch of miel de Bonneau’s month just a few weeks back. This beautiful collaboration between Accueil Bonneau and Alvéole aims to encourage social reintegration by sharing knowledge about the art of beekeeping.
The team on the project works hard to produce local honey, including hives right from their rooftop in Old Montreal! After harvest, the honey starts being sold right on time for fall.
For the whole month of October, some of my favorite Montreal pastry chefs get to work with this honey and propose something delicious with it. On top of that, there is a special day happening at each pastry shop to meet some of the beekeepers and purchase the honey directly from them.
