If you’ve missed Pied de Cochon’ sugar shack last year like I did, you probably heard about the delicious meat pie they served. Since I couldn’t wait until next year to sample it, I made a holiday order on their website.
I loved the pizza box they used to package their tourtière!
As promised, it was more than yummy! Pied de Cochon’s tourtière is made of pork, grounded and in chunks. The flavors were rich and went perfectly with their maple syrup ketchup. The star though was the pastry! I don’t even want to know how much butter went into it to make it perfectly flaky.
If you visit their website, they will mention that orders must be made before December 17th to be picked up before December 30th but I have a feeling you can just swing by and get the products you want. So give it a try if you’re in the neighborhood!
