Twisted Brunch Popup by Hamilton Beach

September 18, 2017

If you’ve been a long time follower of this blog, first off you’re the best! And second, you might have noticed that while I still accept media invitations from time to time, it is rare that I actually write about it other than on my Instagram. Well for once, I really want to write about this! Hamilton Beach invited me to their yearly Twisted Brunch Popup which gives media the chance to learn about what’s new and try delicious food made with the newest products.

Now if you’re into kitchen stuff as much as I am, you can imagine how much fun it was to check out what they had in stock. The main element that shocked me about Hamilton Beach was their prices. I’ve known the brand and its competitors but never realized how affordable while up-to-date their products were.

Here’s what caught my eye in each product category!

The Blenders

While I wouldn’t need a blender myself as I did make the lifetime purchase of a Vitamix, I found the new addition of the Sound Shield quite smart. No more feeling bad about making a smoothie in the morning because you are scared of waking up others ;) And what makes it even better is the price, starting at $79.99 which is pretty wild to me.

The Kettles

I loved the kettle line! The one in the middle has a copper finish while it remains seethrough. And did you see the Gooseneck kettle? I drink drip coffee daily so this one is about to make my coffee even better.

The Coffee Makers

As I just mentioned, I make drip coffee and I make it the hipster way without a machine. What I found interesting for people who do want a machine at home is that their single serve coffee machines offer a reusable container where you can put your own coffee grinds. I love that they’re helping the everyday customer create good habits.

The Mixers

Ok, nothing special here but the price: $189.99! I think the stand mixers Hamilton Beach offers are perfect for people like me who never owned one so you won’t have to break the bank to see if you’ll actually use it on the regular. It’s definitely going on my shopping list once I move in my future condo ;)

The Professional Line

The products found in the Professional line are for home cooks who need more power. The prices are still incredibly low compared to what is found on the market including $199.99 for the higher end blender and the sous-vide / slow cooker.

It was a super fun event to attend and I hope this inspires you for your appliances shopping. I believe that Hamilton Beach is the perfect brand for customers who wish to cook more at home but aren’t sure what to purchase as it can get pretty expensive and quickly. It’s so affordable that I would easily buy an appliance as a gift!

Fall is around the corner and it’s time to get cooking ;)

Oh and shout out to Le Pois Penché who delivered the best Banh Mi of my life 🙌
