I was invited last night to Park Market to view and celebrate Wafu’s appearance at Dragon’s Den. I was happy to attend an event for Wafu as its the only dressing that I find is really worth buying.
As for Park Market, it’s located right next door to amazing restaurant Park and gives the opportunity to pick up some delicious japanese creations on the go.
Chef Antonio Park was given the assignment to design dragon rolls that would highlight Wafu’s product line.
I sadly couldn’t stay for too long so I only got to sample two rolls. L’Arlene was definitely a hit with albacore tuna, avocado and warm mushrooms on top! I really recommend to order the maki of the day when you visit the restaurant, it is always as impressive visually as it tastes.
I got the chance to grab a few products on my way out. I’m pretty excited about the spicy mayo that I will try on a salmon tartare very soon and the wasabi edamame salad dressing. Of course, I couldn’t leave without the original Wafu dressing which is always a hit especially in a warm salad with rice!
Curious about how it went for Wafu at Dragon’s Den? Watch the show online here. I’m against spoilers so go find out for yourself!
